BIO-ACETATE FRAME
Since 2020, the pinnacle collections of ARNETTE have been made using a premium,
eco-friendly material: Bio-Acetate. It is recognized by international standards and regulations
as bio-based in a percentage range between a minimum of 50% to a maximum of 68%.
The bio-based components of Arnette’s Bio-Acetate derive from renewable sources (such as fibers from seeds and woods).
The Bio-Acetate parts of the frames are also 100% biodegradable and 100% recyclable.
BIO-BASED LENSES
Bio-lenses are set on all ARNETTE styles made in Bio-Acetate and they are made of TR XE 4205, which is a bio-based material made of 39% bio-components. In particular, the bio-based elements of the lenses come from renewable sources such as castor oil.
The total emission of climate-damaging gases during the whole manufacturing process of the polymer and its precursors can be reduced by up to ¾ depending on the product.
Bio-lenses maintains the same features as traditional lenses.

All Arnette eyewear is warranted against breakage due to material or workmanship defect for two (2) years from the date of purchase with a valid Proof of purchase. Arnette’s warranty program does not cover scratched lenses. Additionally, any alterations of Arnette products (i.e. sunglasses fitted with non-Arnette prescription lenses) will void warranty coverage.
