Caring For Your Sunglasses Simple tips to keep your sunglasses looking their best.
- Visit any BrightEyes store for complimentary maintenance and adjustments.
- Wash away dust and grit under cold running water before cleaning.
- For a deeper clean, use warm soapy water.
- Always dry lenses using a clean microfibre cloth.
- Avoid tissues or paper towels as they can scratch your lenses.
- Do not spray lens cleaner directly onto mirrored lenses unless they are glass lenses.
- If exposed to salt water or chlorine, rinse your sunglasses in fresh water immediately.
- Never wipe salty or sandy lenses while dry.
- Avoid leaving sunglasses on your dashboard or in hot vehicles.
- Always remove sunglasses using both hands to protect hinges.
- Store your sunglasses in their protective case whenever possible.
- Avoid wearing sunglasses on top of your head as this can stretch the frame.

Repairs Repairs outside warranty.
Where possible, BrightEyes offers a repair service for products that are outside their warranty period or are not covered by warranty.
Repair costs are assessed depending on the product and the type of repair required.
We'll always advise you of any repair costs before proceeding and payment may be required before repairs commence.
Limited Warranty Against Breakage Warranty coverage for BrightEyes licensed brands.
Although every care is taken during manufacture, screws can loosen over time through normal wear. Regular maintenance is recommended.
BrightEyes licensed brands include a limited warranty covering manufacturing defects and workmanship for between 3 and 12 months, depending on the product purchased.
Scratched lenses are considered normal wear and are not covered by warranty.
If your product is returned to the BrightEyes store where it was purchased and the issue is determined to be a warranty fault, we will repair or replace the product at our discretion.
Warranty assessments for third-party brands are determined by the manufacturer.
If the cause of damage cannot be determined, the item may need to be sent to the manufacturer for assessment.
You are responsible for returning the item to us. If the claim is approved under warranty, BrightEyes will cover all remaining costs.
If the issue is not covered under warranty, we will contact you before proceeding with any paid repair.
The benefits provided under this warranty are in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
