Website Information Website accuracy, pricing and availability.
While we strive to present information, images, descriptions, and prices on the website with the utmost accuracy, occasional errors may arise. We reserve the right to decline fulfillment of any orders, whether in full or in part, in cases where the website displays inaccuracies or errors.
These inaccuracies or errors may include outdated information, pricing discrepancies, discount code issues, or inaccuracies related to shipping or returns.
Orders Order acceptance, fraud prevention and processing.
When you place an order, we will send an order confirmation to the email address you provided. This confirmation acknowledges that we have received your order but does not mean we have accepted it or agreed to supply the products. An order is only accepted once we have confirmed it for processing.
You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided when placing your order is accurate and complete. By submitting an order, you authorise BrightEyes to contact you using the email address or phone number provided if we require additional information to process or verify your order.
To help protect against fraud, BrightEyes may carry out credit, identity, and security checks where necessary. This may include requesting additional verification, such as a security code or proof of identity, before your order can be processed.
BrightEyes reserves the right to refuse, review, or cancel any order at its discretion. This may occur for reasons including, but not limited to:
- The ordered product is unavailable or out of stock.
- We are unable to complete required security or fraud checks.
- A product has been listed with incorrect pricing, images, specifications, or other information due to an error.
- A product has been incorrectly included in a sale, promotion, or discount offer.
- We reasonably believe the products are being purchased for unauthorised resale.
- We are restricted from supplying a product to your location due to manufacturer, distributor, or agency agreements.
Returns Monitoring: To protect against fraud and misuse of our returns process, we monitor the frequency and value of returns. Where excessive or unusual return activity is identified, we reserve the right to restrict future purchases, refuse orders, or suspend or close customer accounts.
Australian Consumer Law: Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation.
Order Cancellation Cancelling your order before dispatch.
We understand that there may be times you wish to cancel an order, and we aim to accommodate these requests whenever possible. Please note that all inquiries are handled in the order they are received.
There may be instances where our warehouse processes and ships your order before our customer service team is able to action a cancellation. Once an order has been dispatched from our warehouse, it can no longer be cancelled.
If your order has already shipped, you will need to follow our Returns & Exchanges process, and you will be responsible for covering the return shipping costs should you wish to receive a refund, exchange, or store credit.
To help prevent unnecessary shipping fees or delays, we recommend contacting our customer service team as soon as possible if you wish to cancel an order.
Online Purchase Returns Returning online purchases within 30 days.
If you’re looking to return or exchange your order, we’re here to help. We offer returns within 30 days of purchase. Please note that you will be liable for the cost of return freight.
You can return your product for store credit, an exchange, or a refund to the original payment method.
If your order arrives damaged, please email us as soon as possible at online@brighteyes.com.au with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition.

Return conditions:
- Returned items must have tags still attached and be returned in original product packaging.
- Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use.
Domestic returns:
- Reply to your order confirmation email or email us at online@brighteyes.com.au.
- Create a label using the Australia Post returns portal link we provide.
- Send all items back to BrightEyes using the label provided.
If you choose to send your item back using a different method and your parcel is lost in transit, we are unable to assist with a lost parcel claim.
International returns:
- Reply to your order confirmation email or email us at online@brighteyes.com.au.
- Send your parcel back to the address provided in our return email.
Once your item has been delivered back to the BrightEyes warehouse, please allow 2 to 5 business days for your refund, exchange, or store credit to be processed.
Any damaged or used items that are returned will be posted back to the customer at their expense and no refund, exchange, or store credit will be processed.
In Store Returns Returns for purchases made in-store.
Please choose carefully. We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you make a wrong selection, change your mind, or damage the product through misuse.
Warranty or Repairs Product warranties and repair services.
As a courtesy to our valued customers, BrightEyes will provide a repair service for any products not covered by the warranty or past the warranty period, where possible and for a charge.
Repair charges will be assessed depending on the product and the nature of the repair required. Prior to conducting any repairs, we will advise you of any charges and may request payment in advance.
Limited Warranty Against Breakage: While every care is taken by our suppliers to ensure screws remain tight, they may loosen with wear. We recommend regular maintenance to ensure lenses and frames remain secure. Lack of regular maintenance may result in lens or frame damage.
BrightEyes offers a limited warranty on its own licensed brands, covering breakage due to defects in material and workmanship for a period of 3 to 12 months from the date of purchase.
The duration of the warranty period will reflect the value of the product purchased. Scratched lenses are considered normal wear and are not covered under warranty.
If the product is returned to the BrightEyes store where it was originally purchased within the warranty period, and is deemed to be under warranty, we will, at our discretion, either repair or replace the product.
BrightEyes does not determine warranty coverage for third-party brands. If it is not clear whether the fault is the result of a defect or misuse, it may be necessary for the item to be returned to the respective manufacturer for assessment.
You will be responsible for any expenses incurred in returning the product to us and collecting it. We will be responsible for any other expenses if the product is deemed a warranty.
If the damage is not due to a defect in material or workmanship, we will contact you to see if you want us to conduct repairs at your cost.
No refunds will be given for purchases of gift cards.

Shipping Shipping times, costs and delivery information.
All orders are processed within 1–3 business days, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Order processing begins once your payment has been received.
As soon as your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email that includes your tracking information.
You can view tracking details by logging in to your customer account or by checking the shipping confirmation email sent to your registered email address.

Shipping and dispatch times are a guideline and may vary during peak periods, promotional events, courier delays, severe weather, or high parcel volumes.
Domestic Shipping:
- All Australian orders are sent via Australia Post Standard, Express Delivery, or StarTrack FPP.
- Parcels do not require a signature and may be left in a safe place.
- If you require signature on delivery, please add this to your order notes at checkout.
- Orders under $99 can choose Standard Postage for $12.50 or Express Postage for $15.00.
- Orders over $99 receive free Standard Shipping, with Express Postage available for $15.00.
International Shipping:
International orders are sent via Australia Post Standard or Express. Shipping charges are calculated and displayed at checkout.
We offer international shipping to Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Fiji, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Vanuatu, and Malaysia.
Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, including VAT. BrightEyes is not responsible for these charges if applied.
P.O. Boxes: We ship to P.O. Boxes and Parcel Lockers within Australia.
Delayed Parcels: If your parcel is delayed, we are required to liaise with Australia Post or StarTrack to locate it. Australia Post may take up to 20 business days to complete their investigation.
During the inquiry period, we cannot provide a replacement item or issue a refund while the investigation is ongoing. Once the investigation is finalised, we will resolve the matter based on their findings.

Customers are responsible for the details provided at the time of purchase to successfully process and deliver the order.
If an incorrect or incomplete address is submitted, or if delivery cannot be completed due to reasons beyond our control, additional charges may apply for redirection or reshipping.
While we will do our best to accommodate requested changes to delivery details, we cannot guarantee that updates can be made once your order has been placed.
Status of My Order Tracking and delivery updates.
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which includes a tracking number. Please allow 48 hours for tracking information to become available with the courier.
For domestic orders, if you haven’t received your order within 7 business days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at online@brighteyes.com.au with your name and order number.
For international orders, if you haven’t received your order within 45 business days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at online@brighteyes.com.au with your name and order number.
Price Match Conditions Requirements for requesting a price match.
- Australian Website: The product must be listed on an Australian website with an Australian domain, such as .com.au, and operate within Australia.
- Product URL: Please provide the direct URL to the product on the competitor's website so we can verify the price and availability.
- Identical Product: The product must be the exact same model, size, and colour as the one we carry. It must also be in stock on both websites.
- Current Price: The competitor’s price must be current and not part of a limited-time sale, clearance, or promotional offer, such as Black Friday or Flash Sales.
Pricing and Promotions In Store Differences between online and retail pricing.
Prices and promotions may vary between our online store and our physical retail locations. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure consistency, pricing displayed on our website is not guaranteed to be the same as pricing in-store.
All product pages on our website include the notice that “Price when purchasing in-store may vary,” and by purchasing, you acknowledge and accept this potential difference.
From time to time, we may run promotions, discounts, or sales that are exclusive to our online store. These offers may not be available in our physical stores unless expressly stated.
We reserve the right to update pricing and promotional offers at any time without prior notice. For in-store pricing and current offers, customers are encouraged to contact or visit their local store.
Gift Card Terms & Conditions Using and redeeming gift cards.
- Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or change.
- Lost, stolen, or damaged gift cards will not be replaced.
- Gift cards are valid for use only at BrightEyes.
- Any remaining balance will be retained on the card for future use until expiry.
- Gift cards are valid for 3 years unless otherwise required by law.
- Use of this gift card constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Pre-Order Items Ordering products before they are back in stock.
At BrightEyes, some products that are currently unavailable can still be purchased ahead of their next restock. These items are clearly labelled as pre-order on our website, along with an estimated date for when they’re expected to return.
If you decide to purchase a pre-order item, simply add it to your cart and complete checkout as usual. A payment method is required at the time of ordering, and the charge will be processed when your pre-order is placed.
Availability dates shown are estimates and may change slightly. As soon as your pre-order product arrives at our warehouse, we’ll pack and dispatch it straight away.
If your order includes several pre-order items, everything will be shipped together once all products have arrived.
You’re welcome to cancel your pre-order at any point before it has been shipped. When a cancellation is processed, a full refund will be issued back to your original payment method. To request a cancellation, please contact online@brighteyes.com.au.
