How does virtual try-on work at BrightEyes?
Open any frame in this range and press Virtual Try-On on the product page. Your browser asks for camera access, then draws a 3D model of the frame onto your face in real time, so you can turn your head and see how it sits from any angle.
Do I need to download an app to try on sunglasses online?
No. It runs in the browser on a recent phone, tablet or laptop — Safari on iPhone and iPad, Chrome on Android, Windows or Mac. There is nothing to install and no account to create.
Is my camera video uploaded or stored?
No. The camera feed is processed on your own device and never leaves it. BrightEyes does not receive, store or see the video, and closing the try-on ends the session.
How accurate is virtual try-on?
The frames are modelled in 3D from the real thing, so the shape, the proportions and the way a pair sits on your face are what you will get. Colour is the one thing a camera and a screen can shift: try it in good light, and the product photographs show the exact shade. Lens, bridge and temple measurements in millimetres are on every product page, and any of our stores will put the frame in your hands.
