Brown Lenses
The standard soft brown is an excellent lens as it has a good degree of 'soft' viewing whilst providing substantial blue light block. This makes a good colour to wear where contrast viewing is required such as driving/flying/sporting activities.
Polarised Lenses
Polarised lenses have been developed to cope with reflected glare. This is especially the case where glare off water is a problem e.g. Fishing/boating. However polarised lenses are also used widely on land, as the benefits of polarised lenses can be appreciated with glare reduction from any surface such as snow, glass, wet roads etc.
All VMD's polarised lenses are designed to block 100% of horizontally reflected glare. This makes them the top fishing and boating glasses - you can see directly into the water!
Frames
Frames either hand-made acetate with wire core templates to allow adjustment once heated or optical quality metal frames with floating nose pads for adjusting to different nose shapes. Spring temple models resist frame distortion.

This warranty excludes scratching of the lenses. Glasses should be kept in their protective pouch when not being worn.
